This episode of the true crime observational documentary series follows the case of Rachel Bellesen, a survivor of domestic violence accused of murdering her ex-husband.

I directed and filmed the full episode, building trust with a vulnerable contributor, her family and her legal team, and filming some of their most difficult experiences observationally on the Sony FX9 camera with prime lenses. I also built narrative arcs, wrote the episode script, story notes and handoff materials for the edit.
